The Magazine

Welcome to our Student Life publication! Our publication is steered and put together for and by young people, focusing on themes and issues important to them. We publish nine editions a year in print and digital and encourage young people to contribute through writing, photography, design and business development. In addition, our collaborators often have the opportunity to attend VIP events and activities as well as reviewing products, films and restaurants. By participating in the production of our lifestyle publication, you are being given the platform to talk to your peers about topics that are relevant and important to you. You may wish to drum up support for a campaign or share some of your own poetry or artwork. We currently have 15 themes, chosen by our steering group and young people: Entertainment, Gaming, Art, Fashion, Beauty, Travel, My Planet, Sexual Health, Mental Health, Physical Health & Sport, Food, My Life, Careers, LGBT, Tech, and My Money. These sections are always evolving and include a broad range of topics so if you cannot see an area of interest straight away – don’t worry, we will be able to accommodate! We will always aim to publish your content in print but please note that your article may appear online first.

It’s really easy to become a contributor and you have the opportunity to be involved in as much or as little as you’d like. Please get in touch if this is something that you’d like further information on! We can’t wait to hear from you.

What’s In The Latest Issue?

Welcome to issue 42 of Student Life’s lifestyle publication, soon to be formally known as My Life!

Chances are, you’re probably reading us in your school, college or University and boy does it feel good to be back!

We hope you’re settling back into a routine and are enjoying being back in the classroom or spending time with your friends again. You are all doing an incredible job at adapting to these rather unusual circumstances! Let’s think positivitly as this being our first step out of life as we’ve come to know it and instead into a time where we have more social freedom, holidays are allowed and most importantly we can hug our loved ones.

In this issue, we introduce to you to our latest project and some opportunities you can be involved in.

Best wishes,
Rachel Mitchell
