The Suffolk Libraries Youth Team

We are looking for new people to join our youth team to help implement change in libraries and what they offer to young people. We offer independent and team training days, skills building and creative workshops, and opportunities to build work experience in the arts and culture sector. Or maybe you are just looking to meet like-minded people and build new friendships!

Suffolk New College Student Exhibition ‘Sustainability’

15th – 25th February, Ipswich County Library

Suffolk Libraries are excited to welcome students from SNC for their first solo exhibition. They have created new works in response to the theme of sustainability, whether this is the sustainability of communities or of how we consume products.

Unfinished Business – British Library Exhibition which looks at gender equality

24th April – 22nd May, Ipswich County Library

Young people are welcome to join our existing youth team for a creative arts workshop on 29 March at Ipswich Library, 11am – 1pm, creating posters and banners which will feed in to the British Library exhibition from the 24th April.
