First Impressions

I immediately noticed how open the space was, with all the clothing racks and displays very well laid out to make the shop feel both large and filled with an appropriate number of items. There’s a lot of colour inside and I liked how all the items were organised into colours, which made it very easy to look for what I wanted. 5/5

Greeting

The lady who served me was very nice and friendly, although there wasn’t really a ‘greeting’. Whilst looking through a clothes rack, she suddenly started talking to me. It relieved me of having to attract a staff member’s attention, however it was rather abrupt. She was lovely though and seemed to love her job. 3/5

Staff Attention

The lady working in the shop was quite helpful, knowing information about certain items and when they were donated, and gave good advice to multiple customers about whether clothing suited them. She was on duty alone and although she managed well, she said this was a pretty regular occurrence. On a busy day, I could see this being an issue. 4/5

Product Line

There was an excellent variety of items to choose from, with clothes, stationery, candles and display pieces all contained within. The clothes are surprisingly stylish considering the stereotypical idea of a charity shop and everything seemed brand new. All items were sold for a bargain price and I will definitely be going there again for affordable, fashionable clothing again. 5/5

Product Knowledge

As I mentioned earlier, the woman serving me did know quite a bit about the items I was interested in. Her memory was impressive and she could recall quite specific dates for when the items arrived. 4/5

Overall Service

It is one of the nicest shopping experiences I’ve had in a while. It felt like a cosy environment and I got on very well with the personable staff member on hand. She had to talk to a lot of different customers, but her charming persona never seemed put on or like she was trying to sell as much as possible, instead trying to find what’s right for the customer. Checking out was very easy and I left  happy due to the wonderful service. 5/5

Standards & Décor

I liked the decoration of the place. It was very modern and trendy – different to the often plain and more classic décor found in charity shops. The colour scheme worked well and the addition of a sofa made it feel very homely. 5/5

Summing Up

It is an excellent store, never mind charity shop, and I’m certain I’ll be visiting again. The items are well priced, there’s a wide variety of clothing styles and hopefully the rest of the staff are was wonderful as the person who served me. I think it’s well worth a visit if you happen to be in the area!
