I don’t know about you, but one of the best things about Christmas is definitely buying everyone you love Christmas presents. I am a sucker for Christmas shopping and I start far too early that I end up buying everyone a lot more than I plan. I’m going to share some of my favourite beauty gifts that I like to give my friends and family, but also that I like to receive (mum, if you’re reading this!); they fit perfectly in a stocking and would work well for Secret Santa. I’ve got all bases covered, so I hope this gives you some ideas for your Christmas shopping, or your own wish list.

LUSH Bath Bombs/Melts

Number one has got to be the classic, trusty Lush bath bombs. I’m absolutely sure that everyone either gives or receives bath products for Christmas and I love it. I love a bath and I love Lush as a brand, especially their bath bombs or bath melts; they’ve got an amazing Christmas range this year (as always) with great smelling products that I am so excited for,  especially the classics, Golden Wonder and Snow Fairy. Also, how amazing are their gift sets? They’re beautifully packaged and you really get great products inside that are well worth your money. Either put them on your list or shove a bath bomb in someone’s stocking!

Hair Products

I don’t know about you, but I’m already thinking about my new year’s resolutions (regardless of whether I’m going stick to them or not) and next year I’m determined to look after my hair more. You cannot go wrong with a dry shampoo! My personal favourites are the classic Batiste Dry Shampoo, in the fresh or tropical scent and the Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo DRy ShaMPOO which smells UNREAL. I absolutely love Lee Stafford hair products, I know that to receive any of them would be a treat and right now, my locks are calling for Lee, seriously.

As well as that, I don’t think you can go wrong with a nice hair mask in your stocking. There are so many on the market that are great and really inexpensive; they do wonders for your hair too. I don’t think a hair mask is something that many people think about on the daily, so it’s a nice gift to give or receive for those cosy pamper nights that we’re all going to need to get through January.

NYX Cosmetics

I love NYX, they too have great products for very good prices. They’re a cruelty free brand and like LUSH, have a great Christmas range. I’ve picked a few of their many products that I think would make a great gift or stocking filler. Firstly, their eyeshadow palettes. I personally love the Ultimate Shadow Palette which has absolutely everything you would want from a palette; there are 6 different types with so many shades and a mixture of shimmers, metallics, satins and mattes. For a super festive glam look, the Foil Play Pigment Palette is also full of some amazing vibrant shades which would be great for a Christmas or NYE party.

Following this, NYX also have some amazing Single Pigments, the Glitter Goals Liquid Shadows and Liner, as well as their Foil Play Cream Shadows. Again, these all have many shades to choose from and add an all-out sparkly finish to your make up. The last thing I’ll mention from NYX, which is definitely up there with one of my favourite gifts, has to be their lip products. Whether it be one of their Soft Matte Lip Creams, Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks, or one of my personal favourites, the Butter Gloss, you, or the gift receiver, will not be disappointed. I’m hoping for the Filler Instinct Plumping Gloss this year!

Skincare

Whether you’re into or not (you should be), skincare is important and everyone should be doing it, which means everyone needs new products, right? I am obsessed with The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil, it has transformed my skin. That is just one example of the thousands that are out there to buy. Whether it be a face oil or face cream, moisturiser, toner, cleaner, wipes, eye cream… the list goes on, and whether it be a stocking filler or large gift set, it is bound to be well received.

With that being said, face masks. If you know me, or have read my articles before, you’ll know I love a face mask and I really don’t think you can go wrong with just shoving some in a stocking. Again, there are so many out there to choose from but they’ll definitely go down a treat. There is no doubt that skin needs to be revitalised after Christmas and New Year, it’s a stressful and exciting time, you need to make everything is perfect but you also need to attend every party you possibly can. Then on top of that, everyone is going to be combating the cold, drying-out skin that British weather brings us; you cannot go wrong.
