As Autumn hits and we swap the sundress and sandals for check skirts and ankle boots, it’s also time to switch up the makeup bag and embrace the deep berry and burnt orange shades once again. So, what better time to delve into my makeup bag and let you know my favourite affordable products for the cosiest season of the year.

Starting off with a product that screams Autumn, the NYX ‘Warm Neutrals Ultimate Eye Shadow Palette’ is perfect for this time of year. From burnt browns to glistening golds, the palette displays every shade you’d associate with the season, allowing you to create countless looks. Not only can the shadows be applied and blended seamlessly with a brush, they can be packed on with fingertips for intense pigmentation and, of course, no fallout whatsoever.

When it comes to an evening look, the Revolution ‘Flawless Foils’ take this palette to a whole new level, complementing the seamless matte shades that lie in the crease. I apply the shade Rebound to the centre of my lid to achieve a blinding glow and intensify the overall look.

Moving on to the Maybelline ‘Lash Sensational Mascara’, this product works wonders even if, like me, your lashes fall short. Save yourself from buying false lashes, as this mascara does more than enough to lengthen and volumise with just a few coats. Also, don’t forget to invest in an affordable eyelash curler to create an illusion of longer lashes, even before application!

The next product, an all-year-round essential, is the Revolution ‘Super-Size Conceal & Define Concealer’ in the shade C1. If you’re on the hunt for an everyday affordable, lightweight, high coverage concealer to brighten and hide those dark circles, I can’t recommend this enough. Set with powder immediately after application and watch it last all day long.

Next up is the Ted Baker ‘Blush Pink Lip Balm’. Your chapped lips will be craving this product in the coming months when they’re in desperate need of some moisture. Not only does this lip balm leave your lips feeling velvety and refreshed, it smells lush!

The final, and most affordable, product is the Primark PS ‘Lightweight Ultra Shine Lip gloss’ in the shade Fortune Cookie. Grab yourself this gloss for just £1.50 and transform any old matte lipstick by applying this over the top. Your lips will be left looking lustrous and full.
