Orwell Clinic (iCaSH Suffolk)
iCaSH offers a free, confidential service across Suffolk. They can provide contraception, advice, testing and treatment. To call and book an appointment, ring 0300 300 3030.
Pharmacies are able to offer confidential advice around sexual health and screening. Most pharmacies can provide free Emergency Hormone Contraception.
Test Yourself Kits
If you are aged between 16 and 24, you can receive a free Chlamydia testing kit. You can order online or text ‘TSUF’ to 88020.
For those who are at a higher-risk of HIV, you can order a free test kit to do at home. To check your eligibility and to request a kit, visit the Test.HIV website.
ChatHealth Confidential Text Service
A virtual school nurse text service introduced by Suffolk County Council.
Available for young people ages between 11-19 to access confidential advice or arrange an appointment with a school nurse through the Suffolk School Nursing Team.
You can text 07507 333 356, Monday – Friday 9:00 – 4:30 and excludes bank holidays.
Most clinics operate a walk-in service where young people can receive free and confidential advice, testing and treatment. Where walk-ins are not available, you can ring and book an appointment.
