Getting to spend an entire day in London with friends was the best way to experience the most of tourist areas.
After convincing my best friend from Romania to come here for a week we tried to make the most of the time that we had and visiting London was on top of the list.
The journey started by having a small trip by boat from London Bridge to Westminster. It was quite a good experience as the feeling of being on a boat and see the London’s beauty never occurred to me as being so intense. After seeing London Eye, Big Bang and other important buildings and a few bridges we stopped for our next visit, China Town. Seeing the area from a tourist point of view everything was well arranged. At first sight we were wondering as there were so many lights, decorations and numerous places where we could eat. One stop to China Town would have not been possible without a taste of the bubble tea and, as always, it was totally worth it. After visiting the area and having a nice Chinese lunch we went to our last stop before coming back home, the museums.
We went to the Natural History Museum and the time that we had was not enough to finish the entire place. We thought around 3 hours would be enough, but for the next time will have to allocate much more time. We saw the paintings and we were amazed by the colours and the designs as most of them were made in the 17th and 18th century. What I found astonishing was the dinosaurs’ part as they were very well presented and some of them had sound and movement as well which made the whole experience even more pleasant.
London has numerous places to visit and a day is not enough to see everything. However, it is a start to get to know the history combined with nowadays technology and new improvements. If you would like to visit London start with museums as they contain so much valuable information and it requires quite a lot of time to discover it.
