A nice experience and a good way to relax. This is how I would say that the Braintree Shopping Village made me feel. I had the opportunity to go to this place as one of my friends was very keen on going after hearing some good feedback from others.
Going there on a Sunday morning was such a good way to start the day.
The journey was not too long, around 40 minutes’ drive and when it’s with people you enjoy hanging out with it seems so much less.
Back home we usually go shopping before school starts to buy new clothes and other accessories such as notebooks and other bits that we might need and when I was asked if I want to come along, I knew I should not say no.
Once arrived there I could not believe my eyes, there were plenty of stores to choose from and so the shopping hunt started. We checked different brands, but the store that got me was Hollister. The atmosphere in terms of semi-dark, nice music and friendly staff went perfect with the pieces of clothes and the discounts that they were having.
After enjoying shopping for a while lunchtime came and my friend suggested that we should have Las Iguanas, a place that I have never tried before. We both had chicken with different sauces and mojitos which were very refreshing and went so well with the weather.
Braintree Shopping V illage was a success in terms of seeing a new place and discovering what our surroundings have to offer. The number of discounts that they had in general and also 20% off for students just made me realise that saving up and then coming to a place like this is definitely worth it.
Travelling to places like this just for the day I found that it is very easy to do and is handy as it disconnects with the usual schedule without having to go away for a long time.
