RECIPE

  • 100g Butter
  • 200g Milk Chocolate
  • 4 Eggs
  • 250g Caster Sugar
  • 100g Plain Flour
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 20g Cocoa Powder

METHOD

  • Preheat the oven to 180c/gas 4
  • Line a tin with baking paper
  • Melt the butter and chocolate in the microwave and then cool to room temperature
  • Whisk together the eggs and sugar, making sure they end up light and fluffy
  • Spoon the egg mixture into the chocolate mixture and sift in the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Mix all together
  • Optionally, you can now add in chocolate chunks, hazelnuts or any other extra ingredients
  • Bake this mixture for 25-30 minutes and then lift the brownie out once it is cool. Split into pieces and enjoy!
