Halloween is definitely the perfect time for people to come out at night dress in scary costumes, go out to fill candy in their pumpkin looking buckets though what I’ve noticed is most people often throw a Halloween themed party (or decide not to take part) but for those keen on celebrating Halloween with a delightful party; here are songs which are suitable for this occasion and why.

10. Denzel Curry – Vengeance feat. JPEGMAFIA & ZillaKami

This is ideal for the occasion because it has a really aggressive and bassy beat and has a nice spooky theme to it since all 3 artists go hard on their verses and have tones of aggression especially ZillaKami who really barks the lyrics. Overall this is worth a listen if you’re looking for some aggression or something to turn up to.

9. 21 Savage – Rap Saved Me Feat. Offset & Quavo

This particular song has a really gloomy aesthetic in the intro and things start to get dark. Also 21 Savage rides this rather blacked out instrumental quite brilliantly. Offset has a nice verse and Quavo’s harmonizing in this track adds to the tension and the mood of this track. This has just the fundamental ingredients to a Halloween song.

8. Ghostbusters Theme Tune

Not only is this track suitable for Halloween but it also could bring back a few memories and can give nostalgia for some people. This is suitable because it has a dark and yet an instrumental filled with jazzy flavour to it and it’s really catchy and easy to sing along to. Also it’s based on a film which is all about the spook and this track fits that theme really perfectly.

7. Bring Me The Horizon –Blasphemy

This is yet another worthy pick to place on your Halloween playlist because this has a nice hardcore and dark vibe to it. The guitars are mainly responsible for this vibe and also when the singing verses come along this adds a really moody tone to it. This song has both gloom and aggression all in one song.

6. City Morgue – So What

This track is filled with tonnes of aggression and has a really strong instrumental which is good for people to jump up and down to. Also these artists in the mic bring a heavy load of aggression and hyped to the table. Also most of the album where this song is from could also fit in with a Halloween party.

5. Desiigner – Tiimmy Turner

This song builds up such a dark vibe to it that it has the atmosphere of a misty and haunted forest which is perfect for Halloween night. Also some of the lyrics and the flows are really dark too. Also the cover art for this has relics you would find in an abandoned haunted house and everything the cover art has in terms of mood the song will definitely have.

4. Yung Lean – Hoover

This intro of this track has a mysterious and tension building texture with sampled ambulance sirens to it which is good for Halloween the after a few seconds into the song you hear some hard hitting chimes that build up that mysterious texture and then when the song actually comes in some really strong bass kicks in and things get scary and wild. This is yet another track that is guaranteed to fit in well in Halloween parties.

3. Travis Scott – Nightcrawler Feat. Swae Lee & Chief Keef

As the name suggests this is a true night time banger with an eerie atmosphere just like the Halloween concept and it also has a really vibrant feel to it which is guaranteed to make you day with all 3 artists talking about partying and the moody atmosphere to this track is simply irresistible.

2. The Weeknd – The Hills

Perhaps a more well known pick because this features yet another track with the same eerie atmosphere and dark instrumental which really builds up a lot of tension and sounds good in Bluetooth speakers at the same time. Also this features some smooth singing from The Weeknd. Also the music video to this track is quite horror themed. No wonder why it has over a billion views on YouTube.

1. The Living Tombstone – Spooky Scary Skeletons (REMIX)

I would recommend the remix because it builds a spooky but yet vibrant electronic atmosphere to it which is a deadly combination in the best way possible. Also this has the ability to send people shuffling on beat to the song. Also this is used in a lot of memes but hey at least this track suits the theme of Halloween because the lyrics are delivered in an haunting tone and the intro starts of quite mysterious too.
